Construction of the Argentium Aqueduct began, in earnest, under the tenure of Gaspar Laurent as ordained to him by the winds of Antriska. Carving a path deep into the Zend Intermezzo, the waters of AT9517 were to be split and carried west of the mountains where the foundation was to be laid for a second Academie. The project was ultimately abandoned when it was found that further excavation was impractical due to the low structural integrity of the proposed pathway. In time, a small culture sprung up within the heart of the Aqueduct. The once rough-hewn walls were weathered and smoothed; those seeking a return to simpler times found a home within the echoing chambers of the Aqueduct. Visitors of the Aqueduct often comment upon the remarkable silver streams that wind throughout its serpentine passageways and speak always with wonder of the Argentium Basin, a silver roofed pool of such clarity that it assumes the measureless facade of a mirror turned upon itself.
